The Potchefstroom side opened the tournament with a solid 36-17 home win over the Valke at the Fanie du Toit Sportsground, scoring five tries in the process. What made the performance even more impressive was that the Leopards had two players sin-binned, but still managed to pull off a bonus point win.

Their trip to Polokwane this weekend - one of two fixtures in the second week of the competition - will not be an easy one as the Limpopo side will be keen to make an early impression.

The other clash will see the Valke looking to rebound after last weekend's disappointment. They face the Pumas in Nigel on Saturday and will be well aware that another slip-up could cost them dearly in the latter stages of the competition.

The SWD Eagirls, Griquas, Free State and Griffons teams will all make their first appearances in the tournament next weekend.
