The HSBC Tag Rugby® Community Clinic sees 20 community teams invited to participate. The teams represent communities from Atlantis, Langa, Parow, Khayelitsha, Durbanville, Capricorn Park, Heathfield, Cloetesville, Kayamandi, Mamre and Nyanga.
All schools participate on the Tag Rugby® Adopt a School Programme, which runs in their schools from January to November every year. The Schools have been adopted by HSBC, ASICS, Pres Les, Oxbow Xerox and XO Events / Total (Int).
The Tag Rugby® Association is extremely proud to have been involved in the Sevens and this success. It is with this in mind that the Association will be embracing technology and streaming the HSBC Tag Rugby® Community Clinic live from the Green Point Sports Precinct from 10h30-13h15.
“We believe that this is the first time in South Africa that a Community Sports Clinic will be streamed live - another feather in the HSBC Cape Town Sevens cap. The Tag Rugby® Association would like to thank Shoott-MyComLink for giving the Association this opportunity,” said Stuart McConnell, Director of the Tag Rugby® Association and Chairman of the International Tag Federation.
"The young boys and girls from the Tag Adopt a School programme will be able to enjoy playing Tag Rugby® with celebrities Bryan Habana, Kyle Brown, Dallen Stanford and International Sevens players from the HSBC Cape Town Sevens participating teams."
