It was a special morning for the young learners of Emsengeni Primary School in Zwide on the outskirts of the city, where Springboks Sibusiso Nkosi, Damian de Allende and Handré Pollard rolled up their sleeves to help plant a new vegetable garden for the schools’ community project.

Current Springbok captain Siya Kolisi attended Emsengeni Primary during his early school days.

Earlier in the day Kolisi was accompanied by several of his team mates, amongst others Aphiwe Dyantyi, Elton Jantjies, Sikhumbuzo Notshe, Lionel Mapoe and Schalk Brits to a special breakfast at the Grey Primary school.

Meanwhile, Damian Willemse, Vincent Koch, Willie le Roux, Eben Etzebeth, Ivan van Zyl and Faf de Klerk made their way to the Bay West mall just outside the city to participate in an MTN signing session. Several hundred supporters arrived at the event to meet their Springbok heroes.

Members of the Springbok coaching staff also presented a coaching seminar at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. Various clubs and schools coaches attended the event.
