Fans will be able to apply for tickets to follow their favourite team at Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan when the global ticket application window for team and stadium packs opens on 27 January.

The global phase follows very strong interest for packs from the Japan rugby family priority application phase, which opened on 19 January.

With Japan 2019 set to capture the imagination among international fans as Asia's first Rugby World Cup, the window for applications begins at 10h00 (Japan time, GMT +9) and is open until 23h59 (Japan time) on 12 February and will operate as a ballot, so all applications within the window will have equal opportunity.

Fans who have not yet created a ticketing account will be able to do so at the time of purchase via the official ticketing website at www.rugbyworldcup.com/tickets.
