PLAYER WRITE-UP
The feisty Tiaan Liebenberg, who made his Test debut in 2012 after getting his first taste of Springbok rugby way back in 2007 against the Barbarians in London, has impressed over many seasons with his fearless style of play and great attitude towards the game. Had he not played in the same era as some great hookers, including record Test cap holder John Smit, he would’ve made his Test debut for South Africa much earlier. Still as solid as ever in the scrum and in the loose, Liebenberg has a great appetite for tries and loves carrying the ball. He will bring passion and performance to any national side, as shown for the Stormers in 2012.
