Otto is rated one of the best lineout forwards in the world and a player with an uncanny ability to surface where he is not expected. He is also one of the elite group of South Africans who has played in two World Cups. Otto started his provincial career for the Bulls on the flank, underlying his speed and agility. A fierce competitor and a stalwart the inexperienced players can look up to. The easy going Otto, a graduate in Electrical Engineering, likes spending time with his family, or relaxing with a book.
