PLAYER WRITE-UP
Goosen played for Boland in 1998,but has since became a Blue Bull and moved to Pretoria.
A head high tackle by Puma lock Thys Stoltz, which broke his collarbone, kept Goosen out of the Blue Bulls side for most of the 1999 season.
Much is expected from the attack-minded former Bolander who rose to prominence in 1997 in a Boland side under Springbok coach to be Nick Mallett. He is also equally adept on the wing.
He has grown in stature during the Vodacom Super 12 and is the most capped Northern Bull. His attacking ability and speed off the mark makes him a formidable opponent.
