Lambie back for Sharks final push
August 02, 2012
The return to fitness of playmaker Pat Lambie will boost The Sharks ahead of their Super Rugby final against the Chiefs in Hamilton on Saturday.

Lambie recovered from an ankle injury.

Sharks coach John Plumtree has picked Lambie at fullback, with Louis Ludik remaining on the right wing. Paul Jordaan, who recovered from a hamstring strain, comes back into the midfield, but at inside centre, where he replaces the injured Tim Whitehead.

Jordaan will play alongside JP Pietersen, who has played at outside centre earlier in the competition before returning to the number 13 jersey with great success against the Stormers last weekend.

Bismarck du Plessis will play in his 100th Vodacom Super Rugby match for The Sharks.

The Sharks team is: Pat Lambie, Louis Ludik, JP Pietersen, Paul Jordaan, Lwazi Mvovo, Frederic Michalak, Charl McLeod, Ryan Kankowski, Marcell Coetzee, Keegan Daniel (c), Anton Bresler, Willem Alberts, Jannie du Plessis, Bismarck du Plessis, Tendai Mtawarira. Reserves: Craig Burden, Wiehahn Herbst, Steven Sykes, Jean Deysel, Jacques Botes, Meyer Bosman, Riaan Viljoen.
